Architecture in Dongdaemun, spaces and memory in Busan's Suyeong

SpotWeave

In Seoul, connect DDP's curves with traces of the old city at Dongdaemun History Museum. In Busan, pair F1963's industrial space with Suyeong Historical Park. These are two separate local itineraries for travelers who enjoy architecture and neighborhood walks.

The Seoul route runs from DDP's exterior to Dongdaemun History Museum. The museum is free and opens 10:00–18:00, with last entry at 17:30. It closes 12:00–13:00 and on Mondays, so aim for 13:00–17:00. Focus on the museum if you want less time outdoors.

The Busan route is F1963 → Suyeong Historical Park. The complex opens daily 09:00–24:00; the YES24 used bookstore, an indoor alternative, opens 10:00–21:00. The park opens year-round and contains the former naval headquarters site and Suyeong Fortress's south gate. Exhibitions and performances follow separate schedules and booking conditions.

For October 6, the Korea Meteorological Administration's forecast issued at 05:00 gives temperatures during 09:00–18:00 of 15–22°C in Seoul, 18–24°C in Busan and 20–22°C in Jeju. Maximum rain probabilities for those hours are 0%, 0% and 20%, respectively. These forecasts do not establish peak autumn colors or conditions at a particular site.

For evening baseball on October 6, LG–NC at Jamsil and Lotte–Doosan at Sajik both start at 18:30 KST. Naver Sports and KBO's official schedule agree on these fixtures. Ticket prices and remaining seats are outside this update.

BPAM runs October 1–7, 2026. The main autumn Royal Culture Festival in Seoul runs October 7–11. A separate pre-festival special concert is scheduled at Gyeongbokgung Palace’s Heungnyemun Square on October 6 at 17:00. The concert uses advance audience applications through KBS; it is not presented as a walk-in event.
