From Busan’s museum stories to hillside views

Busan Modern & Contemporary History Museum main building and Yongdusan Park

For travelers who want to understand a port city through exhibitions and old-town views. An indoor first stop lets you adjust the outdoor section to autumn weather.

  • Busan Modern & Contemporary History Museum main building

    The third-floor ‘Modern City Busan’ and fourth-floor ‘Contemporary City Busan’ trace urban development after the port opened. Do not confuse the main building with the annex at 104 Daecheong-ro. The museum’s main building is at 112 Daecheong-ro: 09:00–18:00, last entry 17:00, free. Closed Mondays and January 1; if Monday is a public holiday, it closes the following day. Children’s activities and guided tours require separate reservations.

  • Yongdusan Park

    Continue from the museum to the hillside park and connect its stories with port-city views. Choose the park separately from paid entry to Busan Tower. Yongdusan Park opens 24 hours free; Busan Tower has separate paid admission.
